What are we all about?

WHAT WE DO

Creative Community Connections pride ourselves on delivering exceptional creative and well being workshop experiences that educate and empower individuals in the art of wood burning (pyrography). Our goal is to bring knowledge and joy to the local communities of Australia with new skills and connections.

Our offerings include a diverse selection of classes and packages catering to learners of all skill levels. From novice to expert, our classes provide participants with the opportunity to not only acquire new knowledge but also create something unique and personal to take home with them.

ABOUT US

Our team is made up of Jade Mason, a highly experienced workshop facilitator, who is now dedicating his time to teaching pyrography throughout Queensland sharing her knowledge and skills with others.  Jade Baynes is the Event Coordinator, responsible for organising and coordinating all events and ensuring they run smoothly. Anthony, Shannon and Carly are our current team of tutors, who have been trained by Jade  over the years.

We aim to keep our student groups small, with a maximum capacity of 14 (when all tutors are available) and a minimum of 8 (with the presence of 2 tutors) to guarantee that each student receives adequate attention. We are all passionate about sharing our skills and knowledge with others in a fun, supportive, and creative learning environment. We are based in the small Coal Mining town of Moranbah in Central Queensland, and we are ready to hit the road.

BENEFITS

Creative Community Connections aim to foster a creative and supportive community for the art of pyrography. We strive to help individuals gain new skills, increase their confidence and unlock their potential. Our programs offer personalised instruction and support for students looking to improve their skills and potentially open new doors in their lives.

Pyrography can also serve as a form of therapy, helping individuals to relax, reduce stress and connect with themselves and others on a deeper level. It is an incredible means of self-expression.

THE PROCESS

The organisational process begins with submitting an expression of interest and obtaining funding approval. Next, the type of class and event date are chosen. On the day of the event, we provide a full service, including setup and breakdown and all necessary materials such as tables and chairs. The workshop can be held both indoors and outdoors. Following the event, we stay in contact to gather feedback and schedule future classes.
